How to make a pomegranate juice?

Ingredients:

Pomegranates – 2cup
Water – 1/2cup
Sugar – 1/4cup
Ginger crushed – 1tblspn
Ice cubes – as required

Preparation:

The pomegranate juice preparation starts with picking a tender pomegranate fruits. Choosing the tender pomegranates is the key for the tasty juice, look for pulpy, fresh with a deep colored pomegranates. Avoid pomegranates that are shrunk, dried, discolored. These fruits gives less taste than the fresh fruits. Always using the fresh pomegranates will give the wonderful taste for the juice. Once the pomegranate are picked, add these in a large bowl, add water till these are getting soaked. Start washing the pomegranate within the bowl using hands.

Wash it gently for about a minute. Once this is done, use the chopping board and kitchen knife, cut the pomegranates into half in horizontally. Now you can see the pomegranate fruit pearls are available on the inner skin of pomegranate fruit. Use a spatula and tap the outer skin of pomegranate continuously. This helps the tiny fruits getting separated from inner skin. Once this is done, they are now suitable to make juice. Take about 2 cup of these pomegranate and put in blender, add 1/2 cup of water also.

Since the pomegranate are naturally mild sour and watery it is required to add 1/4 cup of sugar to get a sweetness for juice. Now blend these all gently for 1 1/2 minute. Keep a bowl and place a strainer on top of it. Once this is blended done, pour this blended juice directly into the strainer, strain it completely for 2 minute. Now the pomegranate juice is ready. Take a serving glass, add required amount of ice needed and pour the pomegranate juice. The tasty pomegranate juice is ready to drink and sip.

To get more flavorful tasty pomegranate juice use pomegranates with honey, add 1tsp of lime juice along with crushed ice. Also for adding more flavor using mint leaves, ginger crushed, lime juice, cinnamon, orange syrup gives taste many varieties. Each of these will give new flavor to your drink. Using milk, dairy free milk, coconut water gives a bunch of other taste varieties for this pomegranate beverage.
